School Council

Our School Council is a formal group of student representatives who serve as the voice of their classmates, working closely with the headteacher and staff to discuss and improve school life. Representatives from each class are elected through a democratic process, where pupils deliver speeches to their peers, who then vote for their chosen candidates.

This initiative is a powerful way to promote Pupil Voice, giving students the opportunity to collaborate with school leaders on key areas such as improving facilities, refining the curriculum, and enhancing the overall school experience.

The Council also elects a Chairperson and Secretary from within the group, ensuring strong leadership and organized communication. Topics the Council frequently discusses include improving playtimes, and developing action plans to address various school issues.

By actively participating in decision-making, our pupils help shape the future of our school!
